Future Forests
A Fully-Funded Digital Experience for Schools
Inspire Action, Spark Emotion, and Shape the Future
To celebrate World Environment Day, schools can now access the Future Forests toolkit – a fully funded digital resource developed in partnership with The Rainforest Foundation UK to help students explore the impact of deforestation and climate change.
This pack provides practical, curriculum-aligned resources to support science, geography, and sustainability lessons, helping students to explore real-world environmental issues and consider the impact of human activity on our planet. With structured activities and discussion prompts, Future Forests encourages students to think critically about the choices that shape our world.

Future Forests Explorable Scene
Students step into an online rainforest to explore one of the world’s most vital ecosystems. They’ll face a pivotal choice between two paths: one leading to a thriving rainforest with rich biodiversity and conservation efforts, the other to deforestation, where habitats are destroyed, and local communities are impacted.
A Simple, Structured Teaching Pack
Created in partnership with The Rainforest Foundation UK, this pack provides:
Teacher & Student Guide
A step-by-step guide covering key parts of the experience, with prompts to encourage thinking and reflection. Can be read aloud, used for independent study, or in groups.
KS1/KS2 Teacher Pack
Provides lesson ideas, curriculum links, and student activities to explore rainforest ecosystems, indigenous communities, and conservation efforts.
KS1/KS2 Activity Pack
Use this activity pack to introduce the key themes or reinforce learning after the experience. With interactive quizzes, word searches, and reflection tasks on sustainability and conservation.

What Schools Say About Us
-
Bryan Cutter, Principal
Montgomery Public Schools, USA
“What really got me was seeing how students can (use the AR component to) hold a frog in their hand, and that we can (virtually) take them inside of a heart. I became a child again and said ‘our kids need this now”
-
Sarah Rose, Deputy Head
Corley Academy, UK
“Instead of having to imagine things they can actually see it or be immersed in it, which is going to transform the way our students learn and grasp concepts. VR/AR can help us to support the development of our students in so many ways, and it’s already starting to make a big difference.”
-
Adrian Ferguson, Computing Lead
Prague International School
“I would strongly encourage other schools to implement VR. It offers a great selection of resources across all year groups and curriculum areas. It’s a massive advantage for students and can add an extra depth to lessons.”
