Here at ClassVR, we are always looking at exciting, innovative new ways for our users to interact with VR technology – from creating and importing 3D augmented reality models to building and coding interactive worlds with CoSpaces. Now, we are excited to announce a new chapter in the ClassVR story – Thinglink.

Thinglink is a free online platform that allows you to seamlessly create interactive images and videos with labels, hotspots, tours and much more. Looking to create a virtual tour of your school or local area? No problem. Creating an annotated 360 image of famous places? Easy. Students annotating their own 360 video? Thinglink can do it all.

Alongside the team from Thinglink HQ, our development team have created a simple interface within the ClassVR portal that allows you to seamlessly take Thinglink media and paste it into your subscriptions library, allowing users to implement the familiar ‘drag and drop’ system they will already be familiar with.
Using Thinglink, ClassVR users will be able to elevate their lessons to a whole new level. Using the thousands of pre-made tours and videos online gives you access to a whole world of new experiences – from tours of historical buildings to in-depth guides on difficult political ideas. Simply find the media you want to share, paste the link into the ClassVR portal and you’re good to go.
As our users know, the ClassVR platform is built around your creativity: we love seeing the photos, videos and CoSpaces you create every single day and with Thinglink integration we are bringing a whole new dimension to what you can do. Once you have created your Thinglink account, you will be able to start uploading your own media to tag, label and tour, then share it to your headsets at the click of a button.

So, what are you waiting for? Head over to https://www.thinglink.com/ and get started!
