Houston – we have new content!
This week, we are thrilled to announce that we are now hosting a series of new videos on the ClassVR Portal from the amazing women and men at NASA. As part of their ongoing commitment to inspiring young minds, the team at NASA have made a series of their educational and training videos available to the public and we are very excited to now be hosting them here on the ClassVR Portal – absolutely free of charge.
There are five new categories now available under the ‘Physics’ section of the Portal:
- Mars
- NASA Astronaut Training Videos
- NASA Commercial Crew Program
- NASA Launch videos
- Black Holes
Each of these new categories can be browsed directly and added to your playlists as usual (though please be aware, as the videos are of NASA quality, they are quite large and as such users should only download the videos they want to use, rather than all of them at once). Don’t forget, you can preview any videos before downloading them by leaving your headsets locked and launching the clips directly.
These new videos are ideal for anyone looking to explore how NASA works – from an in-depth look at the Commercial Crew Program and how they are preparing America’s mission to deliver astronauts to the International Space Station, to a scientifically accurate representation of a black hole, there is something for the science curricula of all ages! We also delve deeper than ever into the mission to Mars – who designs the transport? How is it tested? What might a colonised Mars look like?
As with all our new content releases, these categories will be growing and evolving over time – so don’t forget to check back often to see what new content we’ve added! We’d also love to hear how you are using these amazing new videos, so drop us an email at community@classvr.com or find us on Twitter and Facebook.
