We’re proud to share that Allentown School District in Pennsylvania has selected ClassVR to help deliver on its 2030 Strategic Plan through immersive, engaging learning experiences. Serving more than 17,000 students across 24 schools, the district is deploying 1,150 ClassVR headsets to power 66 unique XR learning environments.
Every school in the district will have access to at least one full set of headsets, with larger campuses receiving multiple sets to meet student demand. Implementation is already underway, and teachers are participating in hands-on training to integrate ClassVR into subjects including world languages, ELL instruction, and specialized learning support.
Aligning on a Vision for High-Impact Learning
Allentown’s vision is aligned with our goal of empowering teachers to deliver meaningful, high-impact learning. As Superintendent Dr. Carol D. Birks explaied, "ClassVR supports our vision by creating hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that allow our students to see and interact with content in new ways."
Designed for Teachers, Built for Classrooms
Allentown educators will have access to our Eduverse content library, which includes hundreds of thousands of curriculum-aligned VR and AR resources. From lesson planning to classroom management, ClassVR is designed to be simple, intuitive, and tailored for K–12 use.
The district also valued ClassVR’s “walled garden” approach, which gives teachers full control over student experiences via a central management portal. This ensures that every session is safe, structured, and instructionally focused.
